Family Services
Family communion services take place on the first Sunday of every month. They are accessible to all ages but are particularly aimed to families with children. The children are invited to stay throughout the whole service, which lasts about 50 minutes. The Bible reading, story, prayers and hymns are all child friendly.
During services
Feel free to sit anywhere in the church, but there are two areas we have prepared for children:
- The mats at the back, where there is plenty of toys for the children to play with and books for the children to read.
- Parents/ carers can sit there too with the children
- There is a baby changing mat in the disabled toilet through the doors on the left front of the church
You will also find coloured pencils in small pouches by the mats at the front and the back of the church. These are for children to use to draw or colour the pictures on the paper that is with them. If you can’t find them, please do ask one of the welcome team at the back. If you need to leave the service with your child, please feel free to do so, but please do come back!
