Prayer at Christ Church
We place great emphasis on the ministry of prayer here at Christ Church. Being connected to God in prayer gives us the spiritual stamina to go out into the world to make a difference in the lives of others, through Christ.
Our prayer life is enriched by the teachings of the Early Church Fathers and the spirituality of the monastic traditions. Therefore, we also host Quiet Days drawing from the spiritual teachings of Benedictine and Celtic Spirituality.
On the first Wedmesday of every month our church is open between 10am and 12noon, creating space to be used for general private prayer.
